Cochlear Implant Club and Advisory Association Queensland (Qld CICADA)Secretary: Shirley Edwards Formed in 1989, this is a self help group which meets informally every few months for social events at members' homes or public recreation areas. Provides information, encouragement and support to cochlear implantees, prospective implantees, their families and any other interested persons. The group can put enquirers in contact with implantees with personal situations similar to theirs. A newsletter is issued approximately four times a year. |
