Below some examples of search querries and results have been provided as a guide to help you search the Australian Communication Exchange Website more effectively.

"*" Try entering a short description of what you're looking for. Be sure to separate words with spaces and to include relevant information, such as a product name, event or a name of a person.

To make your search more effective:

"*" Use plus (+) symbols in front of words or phrases to find documents that contain those words or phrases.

Example: Search for +relay +ssr to find documents that contain both the words, "relay " and "ssr".

"*" Use minus (-) symbols in front of words or phrases to exclude documents that contain those words or phrases.

Example: Search for research -vri to find documents that contain the word, "research," but not "vri".

"*" Enclose phrases (e.g., we connect anyone with everyone) in quotation marks (") to find documents that contain those phrases.

Example: Search for "we connect anyone with everyone" to find documents that contain the phrase, "we connect anyone with everyone."

"*" Use an asterisk (*) to perform a wildcard search for variations of words.

Example: Search for +Deaf +impair* to find documents that contain the words, "Deaf," "impaired," "impairment."

"*" Enter search terms in lowercase to find documents with those terms in either uppercase or lowercase. Enter search terms in uppercase only when you want to find documents with those terms in uppercase.

Example: Search for HCO will find all documents that includes the word, "HCO" in upper case.
